During the last 100 years, there has been exponential growth in technology and in every aspect of our lives. As we’ve developed technology, especially electronic devices, we’ve actually changed our environment vastly. But we’ve never been able to sense that layer of reality. If you can have an extra layer of skin that puts an extra layer of data into your world of perception, how will you re-interpret the space around you? With this question in her mind, Vivian Xu, co-founder of Dogma Lab, started this experimental project called “Electronic Skin”, which would bring you a brand-new feeling and understanding of your surroundings and the world.
