Zhang Quan has given us an unforgettable afternoon at the Unreasonable Salon with his great sense of humor. “First of all, I want to prove that I am a real artist.” Zhang Quan announced seriously, “I’d like to share my work with you.” In order to clarify that he is an artist who opens a noodle shop rather than a noodle shop owner who pretends to be an artist, Zhang Quan chose to open his speech like this and continued sharing a lot behind the scene stories of his “Fei Chang” noodle shop.

Zhang Quan thinks he is lucky enough to be born at this time, there’s nothing in life should be complained. He feels there’re quite a lot artists keeping exaggerating their dissatisfactions in their works. He believes he can make people feel happy in his works.  “I want to make sculptures and noodles, they can make people laugh and take selfies with. ” Zhang Quan said. As to him, the most successful part of his art project is the influences it leaves on people around him.
