Textbooks to children are like a longtime companion, most kids usually spend five to eight hours reading them everyday. But is there any possible ways to design a textbook that also looks good?
Aestheticell Textbook Re-design Project, founded by Lin Tsung Yen, Chang Po-Wei and Swi Chen, collaborates with designers and publishing houses in Taiwan to re-design the textbooks for the kids in Taiwan, trying to incorporate the diverse style of aesthetics in an art museum into the textbooks that kids read every single day.
They believe those who are willing to try and change an existing system are very unreasonable, and these unreasonable people can make the existing society and system progress in the right direction.
